Well I did get back on Wednesday afternoon but I seem to have been flat out ever since - I've missed blogging (especially reading my favourites!!) Anyway I have not made anything this week but I have received some wonderful mail and have some great new (to me) books so I am a very "happy little Vegemite" (which probably is not very meaningful to anyone beyond Australian shores).
This is a great Lutradur, Scrim and Lace postcard from Barbara in Germany - I just love the rich colours and the sparkle is fantastic! Barbara also sent me a great card that includes stamped tissue on felt and a wonderful new sort of fabric - veloreen - it is just so sensual and pretty as well. I will have to investigate this further!
This is a really sweet and very detailed fabric ATC from an exchange with Danielle over in Victoria. Danielle also sent me a lovely bundle of tea-dyed tags all wrapped up with cord - they look so picturesque I don't think I can bare to untie and use them!
These are fabulous fibre postcards from another small group exchange with the theme of "pattern". The heart one is by Coralee Barker and the mauve floral one is by Karin Hutchinson (neither has a blog unfortunately) . They are both so beautiful and tactile!
And this gorgeous one is from Jhodi Bennett in Albany - this is from another small group exchange on the theme of "baby". Just love it!!
And look at my new books!! Hot Textiles was a lovely surprise gift from my wonderful friend Annie who knew I was dying to have it!! The other two are purchases from a friend who is decluttering. I am really going to enjoy losing myself in these books.
So tomorrow I start on my "replacement" jigsaw puzzle pieces but I am planning on doing some of the various weekly challenges in between times for a bit of variety as I have really missed participating this week!

Great to have you back, I've missed you're posts!
Hi Debbi
Great to see you back on the blog, I've missed your posts too!
Hot textiles looks great, I've been eyeing that one off for a while now.
Off to do some xmas shopping with 2 of my daughters on monday so maybe I can point them in the right direction.
I love the bunny postcard.
Thanks for your input re the canvases , I'm ashamed to say they're still 'au naturelle', but I have been doing lots of research LOL.
Have a good weekend, what's left of it!
Yay! I knew immediately which one was Karin's when I saw the purple.
I must get going on finishing mine off for this month.
