Well yesterday I was so immersed in making inchies and doing a magazine project that I completely forgot to do a blog post!
I only have one set of inchies completely finished but the other eight are well under way and I have sore shoulders to prove it!! (it seems I hunch when I concentrate on sewing these tiny little squares!) - the picture above is of the finished set using a commercial fabric and gorgeous little shell circle embellishments that have the ubiquitous "made in china" tag attached to the packet (so surely they can't possibly cause customs/quarantine issues).

Other stuff, besides inchies I did yesterday:
An ATC for Joanna (who has been very patient waiting for me to post my "elf" slippers (Sharon very correctly pointed out that they were much more elf-like than fairy-like and that really struck a chord with me so they are now elf slippers) - this one has a rust fabric background and uses two stamps - a text one and the leaf, plus it has extra colour from Adirondak markers and Jones Tones gold glitter dimensional paint.

And some fabric painting/stamping experiments where I have added stamping and extra colour to a beautiful piece of pewter dyed fabric that Joanna sent me. The bottom piece shows the original colour plus the stamping, the next one up is coloured with blue, purple and pink Dyna Flow and the top one is coloured with Radiant Pearls paint. Both lots of paint had healthy doses of H2O to help the colours blend. The top one has "retouched" stamping as ideally you would colour and then stamp (my excuse was that I was "just" experimenting and following my muse!).
Now to get back to my inchies which need to be in the mail by Friday...

Your ATC is beautiful, as usual your palcement is faultless, as is your colour harmony.
Glad you weren't offended by my comment about the slippers, I loved them.
I'm just loving your inchies, Debbi. I'm amazed at what people can do with such a small surface. Great to see that you've had a very productive and creative weekend!
Debbi, I'm so inspired by your stamping. You do such beautiful work!
What better reason for skipping a blog post? Those inchies are wonderful all together - the same and yet different.
Love your inchies Debbi! Great earthy colours :-)
